Building Australia's Future 2007
The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is pleased to announce its 5th annual national conference, Building Australia's Future 2007.
The conference will be held at on the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise at the Marriott Resort on September 23 to 26, 2007.
The full Conference program will run over 3 days from Monday 24 September until Wednesday 26 September with registration and welcome drinks on Sunday 23 September.
The Conference will consist of both plenary and interactive workshops. Sessions will focus on topics and technical requirements relevant to all industry professionals covering areas such as:
- Threats and Natural Hazards
- Sustainability: Think Today about Tomorrow
- Topical Australian Standards in the BCA
- Clarity in Performance and
- Most Common BCA Technical Enquiries.
Leading suppliers of building products and services will also be in attendance showcasing new industry developments. Australian Building Codes Board’s evening social program will offer you the chance to network with colleagues while being entertained and amused.
About the ABCB
The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is a joint initiative of all levels of Australian Government and includes representatives from the building industry. The Board was established in an inter-government agreement signed by the Australian Government and State and Territory Ministers responsible for building regulatory matters on 1 March 1994 and reaffirmed by Ministers in July 2001.
